We were delighted to work with Mercy Ships again in 2022 to create a TV advert for them.
It is a tough challenge to: introduce ‘the problem’, the charity, explain the solution, and how the viewer can help… all in just 30 seconds! In this advert we needed to introduce an amazing charity to the viewer, whilst also explaining the problem and solution.
Due to global restrictions, the hospital scenes needed to be filmed in a UK studio, top and tailed with archive footage to create a compelling advert.
Using AI to improve footage
One of the challenges was dated archive footage that looked a little tired. Liquona used a very exciting software that analyses the footage, and upscales it. The output footage looks much sharper, with more detail and less digital noise.
